Testimonials

What appealed to me about Ontex was it was a reasonably new company in Australia, it was growing and I could see it going places.
Bruce, Warehouse Supervisor

I left school at 14.5 years old & I have been in transport & distribution, customer service type fields for the last 30 years. I am the Warehouse Supervisor for Ontex. My main responsibilities include outbound, inbound deliveries, supervising a team of 10 people, managing the warehouse and the warehouse management system.

At Ontex I like the people that I work with. I like my job because it is challenging.
Alan, Supervisor

I studied Aeronautical Engineering at University. I work as a Supervisor in the Production area at Ontex. My main responsibilities are ensuring we hit the production targets and the welfare of the employees. Prior to working at Ontex I worked at Kimberley Clark for 20 years and I heard about Ontex and its culture when I was working there.

I love the autonomy I get and the good working environment.
Stephen, Technical Manager

I studied Mechanical Engineering at University. I am the Technical Manager at Ontex Sydney. My role is project focused such as automated packaging equipment e.g. Optima, Focke & robotic palletiser. The role itself as it was described was something I wanted to do, an Engineering role, a good degree of autonomy and independence and a wide scope of work. The potential, new factory, small with a view to grow, growth of projects and business itself. The company has a big European presence, a good sized company.

I like the variety and the challenges.
Simon, Retail Sales Manager

I studied Business Studies with Marketing at University in the UK. I started with Ontex in February 2006. My job is responsible for all of the Australia & New Zealand retail sales, dealing with day-to-day contact with customers – quality, pricing, logistics. This is part of my role for existing customers however I am also tasked with identifying potential new customers. I find out their requirements, identify their needs and match their needs to our portfolio of products.
